Wiley the Coyote

I'm not ashamed to say, when I was 3 years old I decided I wished to be a pig. At the time, it sounded like the best thing ever. Someone feeds you, fat is okay and even desired, you get to roll in mud and you ARE bacon. I didn't think it through very thoroughly though and my impromptu declaration has left me with a childhood story I will never live down. As I grew older though, I realize as cute as a pig is there were different things I wished to be.
I wished to be an astronaut. I am terrible at math. Nah.
I wished to be a vet. Science is not my forte. Nope.
I wished to be a social worker. Never mind.
Today I wish to be make a difference. I wish to be known, not heard of, but truly known. I wish to travel and to learn. And I wish to be Wiley the Coyote. If my sister can wish to be Barbie, surely I can wish to be Wiley right? Here's why: Wiley the Coyote is relentless. He knows his goal and he pursues it PASSIONATELY. And when he fails and is smashed by an anvil or piano as we all expect, he will get back up and keep going.
Often times I struggle daily to do the bare minimum, if I can be honest. I skate through life hardly meeting the requirements and hoping that it is good enough to get me to the next phase of life which will "surely be better than this one". I'm done waiting. I'm done doubting. I'm done procrastinating. I'm done creating excuses. I have my goals and I can see them clear as day. So here is what I am going to do:
Get off my butt and do it (well, not quite, my goal includes doing homework which is best done sitting)
Stop feeding myself excuses as to why it is too hard
Start believing that by working towards this, each step I get closer to the individual I strive to become.
Quit Pinteresting, yep that's a verb now, motivational quotes and do what I'm searching motivation for

Whatever your goal, whether minimal or monumental, I encourage you to join me and get off your butt and just do it and do it alongside a community that is in the exact same boat as you.
By the way, does Wiley EVER catch the Road Runner?!
